GUC’s economic development team and community partners work closely with all potential industrial users to assist with permitting processes. After application review, should the industry require a permit, GUC strives to provide an efficient permitting process which meets the satisfaction of the industry and the required regulations.

Founded in 2019, the not-for-profit group utilizes the expertise of the public and private sectors to secure new capital investment to enhance economic vitality. Program initiatives aim to recruit new business, expand and retain existing industries, develop sites and business parks, develop the workforce, strengthen legislative relations and business advocacy efforts, and encourage small business growth.
