🚚 Behind the Scenes: Fleet P&M GUC is always ready to roll, lift, dig, respond and restore thanks to its Fleet Division. Recently, we went behind the scenes with our Master Mechanics, and this week we dive into preventative and routine maintenance with our Mechanic I’s. Fleet keeps a rigorous maintenance schedule for more than 600 assets, which include vehicles, trailers, and equipment. In one month, Fleet’s two Mechanic I’s and five Master Mechanics complete 110 preventative maintenance services. On average, around 150 fleet assets move through the garage monthly on a maintenance or repair schedule. Fleet is always busy, but accuracy and quality are never sacrificed. This highly skilled team maintains an exceptional rate of preventative and routine maintenance compliance with all assets being available and exceeding a rate of 96%. Fleet’s P&M work is a part of the foundation that ensures GUC provides quality and reliable electric, gas, and water services to the Greater Greenville area. (opens in a new window)
