WATER REMINDER >>> GUC will begin “Operation Spring Clean” late this evening, 4/12. This is our preventive maintenance program to ensure that customers continue to receive high quality water. 📅 When? April 12-June 5 📍 Where? Half our service area (see link below) The program involves opening fire hydrants and allowing them to flow freely for a short time. Our water system is large enough that now this program is 8 weeks long (instead of 13) and cleans half of our water distribution lines, with the second half of the system getting cleaned out next year.
