WATER REMINDER >>> GUC will begin “Operation Spring Clean” late this evening, 4/12. This is our preventive maintenance program to ensure that customers continue to receive high quality water. 📅 When? April 12-June 5 📍 Where? Half our service area (see link below) The program involves opening fire hydrants and allowing them to flow freely for a short time. Our water system is large enough that now this program is 8 weeks long (instead of 13) and cleans half of our water distribution lines, with the second half of the system getting cleaned out next year. UPDATE 11:15am - All features have been restored. CUSTOMER NOTICE - We are aware that some of the customer service features of our phone line are currently not working, such as bill balance check and extension requests, and our staff hope to have them back up before the end of today. The online chat feature of our website is also affected. While we work to get these features back up, you can still call in and talk with our customer service representatives or manage your account online through our customer portal.
